It\u2019s also called, Desktop as a Service (DaaS).<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\"201341983\":0,\"335551550\":6,\"335551620\":6,\"335559739\":160,\"335559740\":259}\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">In VDI<\/span>, <span data-contrast=\"auto\">a hypervisor<\/span> <span data-contrast=\"none\">divides, or segments servers<\/span> <span data-contrast=\"auto\">into virtual machines<\/span>,<span data-contrast=\"none\"> which in turn host virtual desktops, which users access remotely from their terminals. Users have access to these virtual desktops regardless of location or terminal, and all processing is done on the host server. Users connect to their desktop applications through a software gateway that acts as an intermediary between the user and the server. In the past, its high-performance requirements made it expensive and difficult to deploy on legacy systems, posing a barrier to many enterprises. The criticality of these applications requires monitoring to ensure optimal performance and a quality user experience. The objective is to prevent the risk of slowness or disconnection.
