The ambient hyper-connectivity brings new demands to all users. In addition to the fast execution of certain tasks, the experience through the applications must be intuitive, fluid, and therefore supported by powerful tools. In this new and complex digitalization movement, how can we provide a successful user experience to optimize efficiency at work?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

First of all, what is a successful experience? The user must be able to perform his tasks without slowness, while keeping a pleasant aspect to the execution. Vigilance must be at all stages, from the creation of the application or the choice of the SaaS provider<\/strong>, through the allocation of bandwidth. The entire digital ecosystem will condition the user experience.<\/p>\n

Powerful business applications<\/strong><\/h2>\n

After highlighting each individual’s needs in terms of adopting a new tool, companies have two choices: developing an in-house tool, or choosing a SaaS provider. The pure functionalities, the technical aspect, and the interfacing with the existing system are key elements for the decision making. However, we must not forget the intuitive aspect to which UX Design responds. Indeed, this ergonomic reflection brings a real feeling of desirability of the tool because it is identified as useful and efficient. Once these aspects have been validated, the IT department is responsible for evaluating the user experience.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Factualize user experience<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The experience is a mix between pure analysis<\/strong> based on numbers, and a feeling<\/strong> that is specific to the user. The analysis of a tool’s performance makes it possible to verify various aspects that have an impact: cloud availability, response time, network fluidity, analysis of interactions with the customer, etc.<\/p>\n

It is not uncommon in large companies to have 100 or 200 employees connected to the same application simultaneously. All these parameters have a direct impact on the productivity<\/strong> and well-being<\/strong> of users.<\/p>\n

To factualize the experience<\/a> of these employees, we need data that is as close to reality as possible. Thus, the implementation of business scenarios<\/strong> carried out in the same environment allows a good knowledge of the user’s experience and provides factual elements.<\/p>\n

What is at stake for the user experience?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The trend towards mobility<\/strong> and digital ubiquity is taking hold and influencing the needs\/desires at the workplace. The IT department must take a proactive turn<\/strong>, to bring a fluid relationship between the stakeholders of the Information System and the employees. A user experience oriented IT monitoring<\/strong> is now the spearhead of a permanent IS evaluation.
